Sonar Now Tells How Negative Your Instagram Comments Are

Sonar, the Indonesian based digital listening platform has just released a new addition to its family of dashboards and analytics – the capability to track and categorize sentiment for Instagram posts and comments, utilizing Instagram’s open API combined with the platforms’ existing proprietary sentiment analysis algorithm.

As Instagram itself is one of the fast growing and adopted social media platforms in Indonesia over the last year, analyzing feedback in the form of comments becomes a crucial part of determining audience perception towards a campaign apart from volume based measurements such as “loves” and views. Sonar basically tells you which comments are negative and positive by each individual post and displays the results by volume, theme and authors of the comment in question.

Sonar currently serves a wide number of businesses and agencies from various industries, mostly in Indonesia and tracks Twitter, Facebook, Media portals and forums, blogs and now, Instagram

Next addition to the platform will be the ability track video sites such as Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion analyzing tags, comments and eventually audio.
