Discover & Visualize Your Brand’s Social Presence Through The Eye of The Netizen

Sonar was built with simplicity in mind, as a platform where users, especially brands and/or companies could directly go to the metrics that mattered to them and instantly draw out data-driven conclusions. We always request feedback from clients to improve our platform in order to fulfill their needs in retrieving data keeping their KPIs and evaluation process in mind. We continuously think how we can make people’s lives easier.  Therefore, Sonar is officially introducing two new features on the platform, Sonar Discovery & Sonar Visualization.

Discovery Page

Sonar Discovery is basically a social search engine to show the volume of the keyword you want to track through public social channels. Not only that, users can also get relating keyword suggestions from Sonar throughout the posts that we find. For example, if you type up the keyword “gubernur Jakarta” to find out the volume, Sonar Discovery will then also show the number and latest post that relate to it while users can see some keyword suggestion that will be able to help them to focus on their topic in wider scale, but without getting too far off the main topic.


Next up, we have Sonar Visualization! This is a new feature to help users to visualize the data based on their main topic. After all, visuals are important! There are three sub-features in the visualization page such as word cloud, author map, & location map.


Our author map helps users to see who is talking to whom about the selected topic on twitter. Also, users can find out the relation between the profiles/authors. For example, the topic is “stasiun klender” in which the first post is from @commuterline then it is retweeted by one user whose relation is following that account. This means the crossing of these accounts indicates that there is a link between one author and another.


As part of Sonar Visualization, our other new feature is the Location Map. Users can see when and where the authors are when talking about their selected topic. While the Wordcloud is able to show topics and keywords that relate to the user’s main topic and find out what is the most talked about within audience conversations.




These new features are released to fulfill clients need in gaining certain data that can and will help with their social tracking. Also, with these new features, our platform will be able to provide more data for clients for them to gain valuable insight through new perspectives to develop upcoming strategy campaign.
