Homecoming, It’s Time to Celebrate Eid Mubarak with The Love Ones

During the last week of Ramadan, there is one tradition that people are always excited for and it’s called mudik (Homecoming), which means they take a trip back to their hometown to celebrate Hari Raya (Eid Mubarak) with their family including extended families.

When these homecoming trips happen, every travel route whether land, sea, or air is usually flooded by people and traffic is pretty much inevitable. Which is why almost all media sites or portals deliver a special update for communities relating to the condition of every travel route both on the highway and port access. Thanks for the existence of social media, people can easily get an update on what’s ahead on their route and share to others.

Both media and communities use hashtags that can help track updated information. Even media portals use it as a means for people to participate in their activities such as vlog competition, Q&A ‘s or Quizzes online. But the biggest benefit here is that people can get help in finding the traffic information faster than before.
